Civic Participation
Active civic participation provides the foundation for ensuring that the needs of immigrant and refugee communities are addressed in city, state, and federal policies. For more than a decade, the NYIC and its partners have worked to involve more and more immigrant New Yorkers in civic and electoral processes, resulting in hundreds of thousands of engaged and informed new immigrant voters.
