The Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development (ANHD) and the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) are the co-founders of the Center for Neighborhood Leadership.

 

The Center’s concept springs from the grassroots community-based organizing experience of the NYIC, ANHD, and that of our respective membership organizations.

 

The Center looks to establish a permanent New York City infrastructure that will promote community organizing and leadership development, foster the identification, recruitment, and training of new organizers and leaders, and then offer career development support to the organizers and their respective organizations.
