C4A is a statewide campaign to expand affordable health insurance options to all New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status.

It is a campaign of Health Care for All New York, led by the New York Immigration Coalition and Make the Road New York. Your organization's support raises the profile of the campaign and reinforces the widespread and diverse coalition behind Coverage 4 All.

 - My organization supports the Coverage 4 All (C4A) campaign, which aims to expand health insurance options to all residents of New York State, regardless of immigration status, because:

- More than 450,000 individuals in New York State remain uninsured because they are undocumented, and thus ineligible for Affordable Care Act (ACA) coverage and subsidies.

- Facilitating coverage for everyone in New York State is an important step in integrating immigrant families into our communities, improving their health status and outcomes, and strengthening their ability to work and contribute to the state and local economy.

- Wider coverage makes the health care system work better for all New Yorkers. Universal access to quality, affordable health care will make it easier for the state to control costs and improve health outcomes. Closing coverage gaps will strengthen the fiscal health of New York State health care providers, reducing the burden of unreimbursed care in the wake of hospital funding cuts projected in the ACA.

- New York State’s commitment to improve population health, transform health care delivery, and eliminate health disparities requires coverage for everyone, regardless of immigration status.
