  1.  VISTA Leader @ New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) - will focus on supporting the management of the NYIC VISTA program including but not limited to VISTA recruitment, professional development, direct support, networking, and engagement in AmeriCorps Days of Service. This capacity-building work will support all of the organizations hosting NYIC VISTAs and in regards to the NYIC itself, will ultimately support it in developing capacity to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. The VISTA Leader will also support the NYIC's general work on volunteer management. This position will be based in New York City, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $20,579.


  2. NYIC VISTA (Communications) @ New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) - will work on general communications projects (e.g., social media, website management, e-newsletters, blog posts, photography). This capacity-building work will support the NYIC in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position will be based in New York City, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  3. NYIC VISTA (Community Engagement) @ New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC)- will work on community outreach, educating community members about their rights and available resources, and coordinating mass assistance immigrant service events which feature free legal screenings and consultations. This capacity-building work willl support the NYIC in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other services which will support their access to economic opportunity. This position will be based in New York City, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.
     
  4. NYIC VISTA (Development) @ New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC) - will work on fundraising projects (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings). This capacity-building work will support the NYIC in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position will be based in New York City, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177. 


  5. NYIC VISTA @ Arab American Association of New York (AAANY) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and fundraising (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings) projects. This capacity-building work will support AAANY in being able to engage low-income immigrants in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes and other services which will support their access to economic opportunity. This position will be based in Brooklyn, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177. 


  6. NYIC VISTA @ Chhaya Community Development Corporation (Chhaya CDC) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and fundraising (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings) projects. This capacity-building work will support Chhaya CDC in being able to engage low-income immigrants in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes and other services which will support their access to economic opportunity. This position will based in Queens, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  7. NYIC VISTA @ CMP - will work on fundraising (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings) and volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support CMP in being able to engage low-income immigrants in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $15,312. 

  8. NYIC VISTA @ Community Voices Heard (CVH) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support CVH in being able to engage low-income immigrants in Know Your Rights trainings and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity and stability. This position is based in Orange County, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $14,136. 


  9. NYIC VISTA @ Faith in New York (FINY) - will work on community outreach (e.g., coalition building, community outreach and education) and communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) projects. This capacity-building work will support FINY in being able to engage low-income immigrants in Know Your Rights trainings and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity and stability. This position is based in Queens, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  10. NYIC VISTA @ Global Action Project (GAP) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management, distribution of youth-produced media, coordinating film screenings and educational events) and community outreach (e.g., coalition/network building, community outreach, community education) projects. This capacity-building work will support GAP in being able to engage low-income immigrant youth in digital literacy trainings and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.
     
  11. NYIC VISTA @ Her Justice - will work on community outreach and education projects including but not limited to developing and/or implementing community outreach activities and materials (e.g. flyers, outreach/service maps, translated materials, street outreach, social media), developing Know Your Rights presentations, recruiting and engaging volunteers for community outreach and education, and developing partnerships with community-based organizations. This capacity-building work will support Her Justice in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration matrimonial and family law services, in addition to other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177. 


  12. NYIC VISTA @ Hudson Valley Justice Center (HVJC) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and fundraising (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings) projects. This capacity-building work will support HVJC in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in Westchester County, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $20,641.


  13. NYIC VISTA @ India Home - will work on volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support India Home in being able to engage low-income immigrants in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in Queens, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177. 


  14. NYIC VISTA @ Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support KCS in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in Queens, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  15. NYIC VISTA @ Legal Aid Burea of Buffalo (LABB) - will work on program development (e.g., resource development, curriculum development, evaluation) and volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support LABB in being able to connect low-income immigrants to diverse legal services (e.g., immigration, housing) that will support their access to economic opportunity and stability. This position is based in Erie County, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $12,311.


  16. NYIC VISTA @ Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) - will work on community outreach/education projects for its taxi network program including but not limited to health education material development and dissemination (e.g., pamphlets, short videos, audio and text messages) and building a network of taxi driver peer educators and members. This capacity-building work will support MSKCC in being able to connect low-income immigrant taxi drivers to health services that will support their economic stability. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  17. NYIC VISTA @ Mixteca Organization - will work on community outreach (e.g., developing partnerships with neighborhood institutions, developing community needs assessments, creating educational materials, coordinating workshops) and volunteer management (e.g., volunteer recruitment, training, coordination, recognition) projects. This capacity-building work will support Mixteca Organization in being able to connect low-income Mexican/Latino immigrants to immigration legal services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in Brooklyn, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  18. NYIC VISTA @ New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG) - will support NYLAG's legal clinics for immigrants by working on community outeach and education projects (e.g., conducting outreach to immigrant communities, helping develop educational materials for community members and organizations), in addition to general communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and fundraising (i.e., grant applications). This capacity-building work will support NYLAG in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  19. NYIC VISTA @ Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (NMCIR) - will work on communications (e.g., social media, blog posts, press releases, website management) and fundraising (e.g., event planning, grant applications, donor mailings) projects. This capacity-building work will support NMCIR in being able to connect low-income immigrants to immigration legal services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic opportunity. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  20. NYIC VISTA @ Refugees Helping Refugees (RHR) - will work on further developing RHR's work experience program by developing program curriculum, resources, outreach and communications materials, data systems, and evaluations. This capacity-building work will support RHR in being able to engage low-income immigrants in its work experience program and other programs/services that support access to economic opportunity. This position is based in Monroe County, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177.


  21. NYIC VISTA @ Violence Intervention Program (VIP) - will work on further developing VIP's Youth Curriculum program which is focused on teaching young people about intimate partner violence, bullying, self-esteem, and bystander intervention. The VISTA will develop program curriculum, facilitation guides, resources, resources, outreach and communications materials, partnerships, needs assessment and evaluation. This capacity-building work will support VIP in being able to connect low-income immigrants to domestic violence services and other programs/services that will support their access to economic stability. This position is based in New York, NY, and will receive a living allowance of $18,177
